AMODEO AND POLISTINA THANK ATLANTIC COUNTY RESIDENTS FOR DONATIONS FOR HAITIAN RELIEF |
|
Assemblymen John Amodeo and Vince Polistina announced today they have collected approximately 800 cubic feet of donations for relief efforts in Haiti during the last month.
“It is just amazing that despite the awful weather we have had recently, people still made the effort to stop at our office and donate clothes, bedding, canned food, and batteries to help the people of Haiti. And the donations are still coming in,” Amodeo said. “We are very proud of the generosity shown by the residents of Atlantic County,” Polistina said. “These circumstances just prove how deep people’s capacity for charity and compassion is.” Assemblymen Amodeo and Polistina are volunteering their office as a drop off location for Atlantic County Toys for Kids Program’s to gather supplies for the ongoing relief efforts for Haiti. The Assemblymen will continue collecting supplies at their legislative office, located on the corner of Zion and New Roads in Northfield. Office hours are from 8AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Friday. A complete list of supplies needed is available on the Atlantic County Toys for Kids Program’s website: www.toysforkidsprogram.org. ### |
